Q. What type of hair does The Lace Cartel sell?
We specialize in both 12A – 100% Virgin Human Hair and Raw Human Hair.
- Virgin Hair: Human hair that has never been chemically processed (no dyes, relaxers, perms, or bleach). It is cut from a single donor, with cuticles intact and aligned for softness, durability, and natural shine.
- Raw Hair: The purest form of human hair, completely unprocessed and not even steamed or altered in texture. It is cut directly from donors in its most natural state, making it the most authentic, long-lasting, and unique option available.
Q. How long does your hair last?
With proper care, our hair can last 12 months or more. We recommend using sulfate-free products, avoiding excessive heat, and wrapping your hair at night for best results—especially with wigs and installs.
Q. Can I dye or bleach the hair?
Yes! Our wigs and bundles are made from 12A – 100% virgin human hair & Raw Human Hair, so they can be dyed or bleached to your desired shade. For best results, we recommend letting a professional colorist handle chemical treatments.
Q. How many bundles do I need?
• For a natural look, we suggest:
→ 2–3 bundles for lengths 12″–18″
→ 3–4 bundles for lengths 20″–26″
→ 4+ bundles for 28″ and longer
• Add a closure or frontal for full coverage.
• Prefer a ready-to-wear option? Try our glueless lace front wigs for easy, secure styling without glue or gel.
Q. How long does shipping take?
• Processing Time: 1–3 business days
• Shipping Time: 2–5 business days (USPS Priority)
• Tracking: A tracking number will be emailed once your order ships.

Q. Do you offer express or overnight shipping?
Yes, expedited shipping is available at checkout. For urgent orders, contact us directly after placing your order so we can confirm availability.
Q. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for customer mistakes such as selecting the wrong texture, length, or wig style.
We will only issue a refund or exchange if The Lace Cartel is at fault, such as sending the wrong item, length, or texture. If this occurs, contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with clear photos and your order number. We’ll work quickly to make it right.
Please double-check your order details before submitting. We appreciate your understanding as we maintain hygiene, quality, and fairness for all customers.
Q. Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?
All orders are processed quickly. If you need to make a change, email us immediately at [email protected]. We cannot guarantee cancellations once the order has been shipped.

To extend the life of your hair:

• Avoid excessive heat, always use heat protectant
• Store wigs on a wig stand to maintain shape

Q. How do I install or wear a glueless wig?
Our glueless wigs are made for quick, secure, and comfortable wear—no glue or gel needed. Each wig comes with adjustable straps, combs, and/or an elastic band.

Q. Do you offer local pick-up or delivery?
Currently, we are fully online. We do not offer local pick-up yet, but in-person shopping and pick-up in Fort Lauderdale, FL is coming soon. Stay tuned!
Q. Can I customize my wig (size, color, lace type)?
Yes, limited customizations are available. We offer three cap sizes: Small, Medium, and Large. Customers may also request specific colors and textures.
Note: All custom wigs are FINAL SALE.
Please provide all exact details at purchase:
• Cap size (S, M, L)
• Texture (Straight, Body Wave, etc.)
• Color (natural black or custom)
• Lace type (transparent or HD)
We do not offer custom coloring or lace tinting at this time—but we’re working on it!
